Ramps having slopes greater than one vertical to 15 horizontal shall have landings at the top and bottom and at least one intermediate landing shall be provided for each 5 feet of rise. The maximum slope of a ramp that serves any exitway, provides handicap access or is in the path of travel shall be 1 foot rise in 12 feet of horizontal run.ĮXCEPTION: The slope of an existing ramp shall not exceed 1 foot rise to 8 feet horizontal run.
